Reporting a problem

From inside crc

1. Choose Help › Report a Problem….

   crc opens a new GitHub issue in your browser with the version, your macOS version and the last crash, if any, already filled in.

2. Add what you did, what you expected, and what happened instead.

3. Submit it from the browser.

Note

crc sends nothing itself. The report is a pre-filled page in your browser; nothing leaves your Mac until you submit it.

By hand

Open an issue on GitHub with:

• what you did, step by step
• what you expected, and what happened
• the version, from crc › About crc or crc --version
• a screenshot, which helps more than a long description

Crash logs

Crash logs are in ~/Library/Logs/crc. Help › Show Crash Logs opens the folder.
